Musa's Neutral Safari Room

Now that I have some time on my hands, I’m finally about to show you all Musa’s Neutral Safari Room. It’s pretty simple, especially compared to Safa’s but I actually really love the neutral minimalist vibe in his room. I wanted to add some more elements which may come later as he gets older.

When I started designing his room, I knew I wanted a black crib. Since he’s small, I got a mini crib and when he gets older I’ll get him a toddler bed. I wanted to incorporate a safari theme so i found these adorable animal wall hangings at Hobby Lobby. I needed four so I go two of the elephant ones. For a side table, it was part of a two piece set I got and used the bigger ones for our bedroom side tables. The rug in his room was a find from Home Goods a while back.

For his changing table, I used an IKEA dresser and placed a changing mat on top. I did the same for Safa and now her changing table is her dresser. In fact this changing pad is Safa’s old one. I saw this moose rocking chair at IKEA which was a perfect pop of red for his room. And then for all the baskets I placed all his stuffed animals.

Lastly, I got this toy shelf for all of his toys. They do have a playroom downstairs but I wanted to seep his toys and books in his room. All of the toys are from my Lovevery subscription. All the baskets and small bins are for Target. They were great finds from the bulls eye section. Usually these baskets are from 10-20 bucks and I found these from 3-7 bucks each. You’ll see them around the house. The sign above is from Hobby Lobby. In the corner is a rocking glider that I got when I was pregnant with Safa. And it’s still going! I definitely recommend a glider over a rocking chair. One thing I would recommend is getting one with a higher back so you can rest your head.

Hope you guys enjoyed this little tour.
