ABOUT ME

My name is Sania Siddiqui and I’m married with two kids, a daughter who is 3 years old and a newborn son. By training, I am a clinical social worker and recently received my LCSW. I currently am a stay at home mom as we are going to move from CT to NJ and will eventually return to work.

As a clinical social worker, I was trained as a psychotherapist to work with mothers with substance use addiction and children under three. I didn’t know it then but it taught me so much about attachment parenting and made me a better mom today.

This blog is my ongoing experience as a thoughtful mom. I want to raise my children with my psychology background and cater to their developmental needs as they grow. Many topics will be serious and successful parenting that has worked for me and others will be light topics such as simple birthday parties and their daily routine. I hope you can benefit from this and am blessed to be able to share my thoughts with you all.
